Welcome to MJCS Web
Malaysian Journal of Co-operative Studies (MJCS) is a refereed journal and indexed in MyCite and MyJurnal.
MJCS is published by Co-operative Institute of Malaysia.
MJCS provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge sharing based on research, opinions, and original comments on issues involving the cooperative movement in Malaysia as well as internationally.
JOURNAL POLICY
MJCS publishes one time per year (October). Abstracts and manuscripts must be written in English or Malay language and can be submitted via online paper submission or email (mjcs@ikma.edu.my) throughout the year. There is no submission and publication fee for regular volume. MJCS will be published in both electronic and printed forms.
All manuscripts are subject to a blind peer-review process by academics and practitioners of the same fields. The Editors will review each manuscript first and conduct a similarity check to decide if it is to be sent to the reviewers. The reviewing process will normally take two to three months. Manuscript that fails to comply with any ethical issues and submission guidelines will be rejected.
MJCS is an open access journal. Authors retain the copyright and full publishing rights. All published articles are freely accessible and downloadable without subscription fee or charge to the users and their institutions. Users are also allowed to read, copy, print, share (online) and distribute the full texts of the articles as well as use them for research projects, lectures, grant applications and any other lawful purposes without having to ask for prior permission from the corresponding authors, the editors or the publisher. Such practice is in line with the definition of open access by Budapest Open Access Initiative. Authors are also allowed to deposit their published versions of their works in their respective institutional or other repositories of their choices, such as ResearchGate and Google Scholar.
All published papers are archived on MJCS’s website at mjcs.ikma.edu.my or mjcs-ikma.com to increase its visibility and citations.
